In pursuit of fellow urbanites
work in progress
Normally, out of habit, I seek for nature outside the city. For this new series, I am exploring the city as a biotope. The city is incredibly diverse and rich, characterized by a warmer climate and with so-called “naturalized” species. It's a matter of a new habit. Learning to see like an urban plant allows us to perceive the city beyond its human perspective. The bodies of urban plants transform the city into a living environment, full of shelter and fertile sites to sprout. Seeing the world from a plant's perspective gives hope. It shows that life is possible in this human-dominated world.
